For some reason, I have three bras at home that are brand new and after wearing them each for about 2-3 times they start smelling of musty, burned rubber which isn’t coming from me. My other bras that I’ve had for a long time are fine and smell normal. These three bras (two are American Eagle brand and one is Playtex) started doing it shortly after purchase and when I began wearing them. The playtex one I tried washing and then air drying but it didn’t take the odd smell out. Does anyone have any tips?
I must re-iterate myself…
I do own bras that DO NOT smell. One if from Victoria’s Secret and the other two I got a JC Penny’s and Kohl’s. I wear these currently with NO ODOR problems. The three I just bought HAVE NOT been washed yet or dried in the dryer but have this odd burned rubber odor.
